28 Apr-9 May 2003, New York – The eleventh session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD-11) met at UN Headquarters in New York on 27 January 2003 and 28 April-9 May 2003. CDS 11 was the first follow-up to the Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development in August 2002 and began the process of moving forward on the provisions of the Plan of Implementation of the World Summit on Sustainable Development – the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation.
