‘Preparing for the 2027 Review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Including the SDGs,’ an in-person side event and Zoom webinar at the 2026 United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (the HLPF), was held on 6 July 2026, 10:00 to 11:15, Conference Room 8, UN HQ, New York, New York – and as a Zoom webinar for stakeholders around the world.
Organized by Stakeholder Forum for a Sustainable Future in cooperation with WWF International, it was moderated by Stakeholder Forum Chair Louis Meuleman, with keynote presentations by Felix Dodds, Adjunct Professor at the Water Institute, University of North Carolina, and a Fellow at Stakeholder Forum; and Elena Khishchenko, Global Campaigns Manager at WWF International. Speakers showcased the document, ‘A Primer for Stakeholders Engaging in the 2027 Review of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, Focusing on the Environmental SDGs,’ which covers eight of the environmental-focused SDGs, including four that are being reviewed at the 2026 HLPF: SDG 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals.
