NEW BOOK – Friends of Governance for Sustainable Development Volume 8

NEW YORK — Today, the Friends of Governance for Sustainable Development announced the release of Volume 8: SDG 16 and its Interlinkages with other SDGs – Challenges and Opportunities.

Felix Dodds, Secretary of the Friends of Governance for Sustainable Development and a former Director of Research and Development of Multilateral Policies and International Affairs at the Rob and Melani Walton Sustainable Solutions Service (RMWSSS) at Arizona State University, and a Fellow at Stakeholder Forum, coordinated the launch of the publication through his publishing company New World Frontiers.

“We are excited to announce the eighth volume of this series of books produced by the Friends Group,” said Dodds. “The book comes out as a contribution to taking forward the 2024 United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, and SDG16 where the year’s theme is: Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions.”

We hope that this book is an invaluable resource; it includes chapters written by experts working within the UN system on a range of issues whose perspectives are crucial for anyone working to advance sustainable development at the global level. It looks in particular at SDG 16 and its links with the other key goals being reviewed by this year’s High-level Political Forum.

Available both in paperback and for Kindle – this new edition can be purchased on Amazon. It is also available at no charge on the Friends of Governance website, which is to enable developing countries access to the ideas that are reflected in the book.
